There is so much to enjoy of Australia, and one of the most beloved attractions in Sydney is the Oztrek, located at the landmark Sydney Tower. Following his success with a similar venture in New York City, serial entrepreneur Zalman Silber now brings the virtual helicopter fly-over experience to Aussies with immersive surround sound and specially designed kinetic seating synchronized with the action onscreen. Six metres high and wrapped around a hundred and eight degrees, the visuals are nothing short of stunning, with you-are-there edge-of-the-seat excitement as the quarter-hour presentation journeys over many of Australia's most iconic landscapes while exploring history and geography to bring national treasures to life as never before. The itinerary includes some of Sydney's proudest structures, such as the Harbour Bridge and its world-famous Opera House, as well as Outback locales like the mystical Uluru. Queensland's Barron Gorge, Tully River, and more are on offer in this multimedia extravaganza introducing visitors to Australian sights and sounds!
And that's not all Zalman Silber has planned for guests of the Sydney Tower. His Skywalk is a high-altitude experience like no other in the city, where two hundred and sixty-eight metres above ground - outdoors - you and your family will experience an adrenaline rush stepping onto the fully transparent glass walkway, enjoying avian views while safely harnessed in special Skysuits! Accompanied by professional guides providing color commentary, guests will be able to see distant beaches and mountains around the city, facing Sydney from the most unique vantage point around. The entire experience lasts a full sixty minutes of heart-thumping, mind-blowing wonder on an observation deck like no other!
That's Aussie entertainment, and Zalman Silber's vision of the boundless possibilities of the continent. His Skywalk is wheelchair-accessible, too, for all-inclusive fun and excitement the whole family will appreciate (reservations must be made forty-eight hours in advance). Lockers are available for all valuables, and a rain jacket is provided in conditions of wet weather. However, large backpacks and suitcases cannot be accomodated, so make sure to travel lightly on the day of your visit! As loose items cannot be taken along on the Skywalk for obvious safety reasons, a professional photographer is on hand to record your experience.
Of course, a traditional observation deck is on hand, too, below the roof-level Skywalk, with eighteen binoculars and a full three-hundred-and-sixty degree panoramic view from behind glass. And this is all at the Sydney Tower - just imagine the rest of the city!
